Underground dump trucks are also known as underground transport vehicles, mining transport vehicles, tunnel transport vehicles, mining all-terrain vehicles, tunnel spoil removal trucks, and underground ore transport vehicles.
Underground dump trucks are designed primarily for tunnels with inclines of up to 25 degrees, especially for narrow and low-height mines. They feature either an axel drive or front and rear axle drive, with front-wheel steering. They come equipped with a secondary gear transmission box and are powered by Yuchai’s 4102 National III engine. The transmission offers a wide range of speeds, providing high torque and strong traction at lower gears while also allowing for higher speeds to save time. Additionally, they are fitted with effective exhaust gas treatment equipment to minimize emissions. Special manufacturing techniques are used to create ultra-narrow axles.
Underground dump trucks are widely used in mines, tunnels, quarries, mountain roads, muddy roads, and other areas.
