Things to note when climbing hills by underground transport vehicles for mines
Mining underground transport trucks, also known as underground dump trucks, mining dump trucks, and mining trucks, are transport trucks driven by diesel engines. The gearbox is converted into a hydraulic gearbox. It is mainly used for mine roads and tunnels in good condition. The slope of underground transportation operations in metal mines and non-coal mines shall not exceed 25 degrees. Among transport vehicles that often experience hill climbing problems in underground mines, hill climbing transport vehicles can save more labor.
1. Heavy loads, especially the difficulties that inexperienced novice drivers encounter when mining vehicles, including slipping. When encountering this situation, you should not start blindly often to avoid triggering the transmission system such as clutch plates and other components. If damaged, the driver of the four types of transportation vehicles used in mining can step on the parking brake. In the vehicle, use larger stones, wedges of wood and other objects placed behind the drive wheels, and then slowly release the parking brake to check the vehicle. If there is no sign of backup, restart. This method reduces the difficulty of starting on a slope with a medium load and allows a generally smooth start.
2. Unlike heavy vehicle climbing (especially long and steep slopes), the driver must select the appropriate equipment in advance and avoid environmental changes, especially for new drivers with driving experience.
3. When shifting gears, unlike transport vehicles, the vehicle must reach a higher speed. The gear shifting action must be timely and decisive. Otherwise, even if you change to a high gear, the speed may not increase sharply due to excessive engine stalling and increased load. Therefore, you have to downshift because you cannot provide enough power, which is not conducive to climbing again.
