Regular inspection of the diesel engine is required for small mining dump trucks.
After purchasing a small mining dumper truck, some users immediately put it into high-intensity operation, which leads to a significant reduction in the vehicle’s performance and the lifespan of various components, and results in frequent diesel engine failures. We would like to remind everyone that thorough inspections of the mining dump truck must be conducted before it is put to work.
- Before starting, check that the fuel, lubricating oil, and cooling water have been added as specified.
Turn the crankshaft by hand with the handle, observe if the decompression mechanism is working properly, and judge the normalcy of the compression stroke pressure of the diesel engine by feel.
- Mining dump truck shutdown inspection: Check if the starting method is correct, if the decompression lever position is correct, and if the fuel injection sound is crisp.
If in winter, seasonal factors should be considered, such as whether the engine heating system needs to be warmed up before starting, and so on. If the engine can be started within three attempts, it indicates that the diesel engine has good starting performance.
